O Jesus Christ who loves us so much, I thank You for all that You have done in my life. You have done several good things in my life as You had promised and crowned me with happiness, peace and blessings. I thank You umpteen times for that. Now Lord, because of what happened recently, I have lost peace and joy and am in agony. You know that very well. I do not know why You permitted that. You know all that I have lost. I am traumatised as an orphan. Lord, I do not look up to men. I look up to You alone. O Lord, I am filled with unbearable sorrow. I beseech You to restore the peace that I have lost. O Jesus Christ, have mercy on me. O the Lord of comfort, have mercy on me. O Prince of Peace, have mercy on me. You who would give peace bountifully, have mercy on me. Be gracious to forgive me, if my sins or any of my trespasses are the reason for my suffering. Lord, give new strength in me. Give me a new life. I commit myself to live for You. You who would protect me as the apple of the eye, support me with Your wounded hands and guide me. Have mercy on me as You have said, “I will bear; I will carry and will save.” Comfort and encourage me. I am filled with sorrow because of my family members. You would turn my sorrow into joy. You have borne my sorrow; have mercy on me. I plead with You to bear me and carry me through this situation. O Lord of comfort, support me with Your gracious hands and do a miracle to wipe out all burdens in my heart and restore peace in me so that I might do Your ministry and continue to work for You. Strengthen me. I believe that You would do that and praise You. I thank You. In the name of Jesus Christ, I make this prayer, O good Father. Amen.
