Loving God, I thank You for this time of prayer. I praise and thank You for the mercy shown to me and my family from the depth of my heart. I had doubts in the midst of my weakness whether I would see this new year at all. O Jesus Christ, I praise and thank You for girding me with strength and health and enabling me to see this New Year. You who have made me enter this year crown me and my family with Your good blessings. You only know the thirst in my soul. Let not my heart be troubled by anything. Bless me so. I am anxious to know when it will be quenched. I praise You with the belief that You would do that soon. You know all my weaknesses. I thank You thousands of times for strengthening me in spite of my weaknesses and leading me by Your grace. You blessed Paul with Your power made perfect by Your sufficient grace in his weakness. Have mercy on me also. O Lord, help me to do only those things that please You. O Jesus Christ, protect me this year from unexpected troubles, dangers and losses. “For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.” (Zec. 2:5). Protect my house also likewise. Make my earnings multiply. Bless my enterprise/ business/ job. Shower blessings in the lives of my children. Make them grow like Olive saplings. Create in them the heart to love Your Bible. Let this year be filled with Your blessings and exaltation. Have mercy on me and hear this prayer and bless me. In the name of Jesus I make this prayer, O good Father. Amen.
