Dearly beloved in Christ,
I greet you in the sweet name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the year 2008, when my father was returning to Chennai at night after completing his ministry abroad, I set out from Trichy at 9:00 PM to pick him up. We picked him up in Chennai and immediately turned back towards Trichy. Since he had a meeting the next morning, we drove back without delay. When we were near Ulundurpet at around 6:00 AM, I decided to stop the vehicle by the roadside to sleep for a short while due to extreme exhaustion, intending to resume the journey. While I dozed off for a brief moment, I had a dream. In it, someone opened the back door of the car we were in and was taking things like suitcases out of it. I saw this vividly in my dream. Immediately, I woke up with a start, and I looked behind the car in great fear. Someone was standing and looking into the car through the rear glass window. He was watching us with the intention of stealing the items inside. My father also noticed the man watching us while I was asleep. That man was waiting for me to wake up from my sleep. He then tried to open the back of the car. We immediately started the car and moved away from that place. I still often think about this incident.
Just as the Magi were warned through a dream and went another way without telling Herod where Jesus was born, God warns us in many situations through our dreams and His words. If we listen to the Lord’s warning and act accordingly, we will be saved from destruction.
