Dearly beloved in Christ,
I greet you in the sweet name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
When I was studying abroad, I attended a church filled with young people, most of them were children of missionaries serving in countries like Africa and Pakistan. The head priest of this church was Rev. Neil Chambers. I was eager to learn and participate in church activities, and I once asked him for a discussion about the book of Revelation. He kindly gave me an appointment to meet at a coffee shop at 8:00 a.m. I arrived on time, and at 8:00 I received a call from him apologizing that he would be five minutes late. True to his word, he arrived exactly at 8:05.
I was deeply moved. Here was the head priest of a large church, yet he humbled himself to apologize for being late by just five minutes. From that day onward, I resolved to be punctual in all things and to apologize sincerely if ever delayed. This small act of humility became a powerful lesson for me — a living testimony.
In the same way, we are called to be witnesses of Christ in our daily lives. Among our relatives, friends, and colleagues, our actions should reflect His light. As Jesus said: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16).Let us examine ourselves and strive to be true witnesses of Christ, not only in words but in deeds.
