Beloved in Christ,
Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Some time back I finished the ministry in Hong Kong and came back home. I was sore tired and exhausted. But the next day I had to leave for the Sri Lankan ministry. A thought came to me. I had never gone to Sri Lanka by First Class. Because of my tiredness and also because of my desire, I thought of changing my ticket. I came to my house only in the early morning of Saturday. I had to make my journey to Sri Lanka from Trichy on the morning of Sunday. I had my bath and went to bed. I woke up only at 2 p.m. Sri Lankan Airlines Office remained closed that afternoon. So, that was the end of my yearnings. That evening one brother came from Australia. He had come for prayer. He had plans to travel to Sri Lanka from Trichy that Sunday and then to leave for Australia after a few days. So I asked him to come to my house so that we could leave together for the airport. He also accepted the idea. We reached the airport with him as we had planned. I gave my ticket as well as his with those of the others who accompanied me to the airport official. The man enquired about the brother and then asked us whether we also accompanied him. We said that we went with him upto Sri Lanka. He took the tickets to the manager and then returned after some time. He said that the manager had asked him to upgrade those tickets to first class and so asked us to receive the boarding pass for first class. So, we could travel by first class for the first time. We reached Sri Lanka without any tiredness and we very much tasted the love of the Lord.
Dear brother / sister, you may have desired so many things in your life and you may not have had them. Then you might even have murmured and complained against God. The Lord who still lives and is almighty, knows all our desires and thirsts. He wants to give a double blessing to His people. So do not be dismayed. Delight yourself in the Lord. A father knows the needs of his children and does them at the right time. Our heavenly Father does things according to our needs at the right time. He feeds us at the right time and does everything for us. “For He spoke and it was done” (Psalm 33:9). From today onwards do not grumble for those things that have been delayed. Do not worry, but delight in the Lord. The Lord who never does any evil or wrong will definitely fulfill all your wishes and make you happy.
May the Lord bless you!
