“And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.”
Psalm 9:10
Dearly beloved in Christ,
Greetings to you in the sweet name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
An incident happened in the early days when I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour and committed to live for and in Him. All the keys of my house as a bunch were lost. I searched the entire house using all strategies and plans that I could think of, but everything ended in vain. I clearly remembered having brought the key bunch home. I searched every place, but of no avail. I shared this event with one of my colleagues and he suggested me that I should replace all the locks with new ones. A police official who was with me then also suggested the same thing. Returning home that day, I was musing over it. At last, it became clear that my efforts and wisdom would not work. Till then I relied on my ability and wisdom for getting back those lost keys. Then I realized that it was impossible and that what is impossible with man is possible with God. Then I began to examine the importance of that word. I understood that only when I sought the Lord Jesus Christ, this would be possible. I then sought the face of the Lord. The Lord does not forsake those who seek Him. According to that word, the Lord worked a miracle. The key bunch was there in the drawer of the table where I had searched for it already. When I went to take my pen, I found this bunch also. I had searched the drawer several times. But I couldn’t find it there. The Lord by His grace enabled me to see the bunch there. I was surprised. Glory to the Lord.
Today you may have been seeking for blessings in several places but might have met with failure and defeat. Are you so? Give room for the Lord Jesus Christ who is the source of all blessings. Those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing. The Lord who said so will work a miracle in your life too and help you. He works more than what we think. He brings to existence from what is not. You may lack a child or job, or house, or health, or education or wisdom. You may go through lack of several things in real life and may be living destitute with no support from anyone. Seek the Lord who said, ‘I will bless you today.’ You will see a miracle.
May the Lord bless us!
