A PRAYER FOR PEACE AND BLESSINGS IN THE NEW YEAR

O God of love, I humble myself at Your feet in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray. You were sufficient for me throughout last year. You ended all the problems that came in my way in a wonderful way. I thank You. I plead for Your peace and blessings to abound during this year. It is written of You: “He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat” (Psalm 147:14). Accordingly, You multiply peace in my borders. As said in Isaiah 54:13 “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children,” let their peace be great. You said: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you” (John 14:27). Let our nation be filled with Your peace. It is written, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3). Give real peace in full measure in my life. Bless me and my house with Your peace and grace. You know that I love Your Word. As I love Your word, help me to enjoy all the blessings that flow from it. Whatever be the matter, big or small, let not my peace be disturbed. Your Word assures us, “The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace” (Psalm 29:11). Let it be perfected in my house and family. Have mercy on me so that I might be warm in my spirit. Fill me with the wisdom that comes from above. Psalm 37:11 says, “But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” Help me to be filled with wisdom and blessings from You. Let Your peace abound in my periphery all through the year from beginning to end. Help me to walk in Your ways and to inherit all Your blessings. In the name of Jesus Christ, I plead with You, Father. Amen.
