“...this is the victory that has overcome the world

                                                                                                                                                                                1 John 5:4

Dearly beloved in Christ,

I greet you in the sweet name of the Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless us abundantly in this New Year!

A family came to me for prayer as they were worried about their eldest son. He was then studying 12th standard. He was not able to study and would not go and write the exams. They began to pray fervently and with faith in the Lord. He passed the public examination with good marks and got admitted in an engineering college. Thus, he graduated as an engineer. He obtained a victory he did not dream.

Perhaps, dear child of God, you may be worried about your child not progressing well in studies. The Lord who gives victory is alive. The Lord Jesus Christ gives us victory in what we do. Do not be dismayed about the future of your children. Neither be anxious about the completion of courses of your children. He is mighty who created the entire universe by His words: “For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:9). He will counsel you with His eye on you. He will bless by making them succeed. He will help to remove all obstacles in the way. The obstacles in their studies will be removed on His command. It might be something that prevails in the thoughts of children like games, mobile phones, or laptop or TV. They may be slaves to these things. The Lord Jesus Christ can transform a sinner into a righteous person; He can transform sorrows into joy; darkness into light.  He can control the heart of a person. The Bible says: “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes” (Proverbs 21:1). He can turn the heart of your child and make him have victory. Let us not give up hope. Let us pray for God’s intervention. We will certainly have victory.

May the Lord bless us!
