O God of love, I thank You for this good time of prayer. You have answered all my prayers so far and I thank You for that. Now, O Lord, my heart is disturbed by so many things. I am not able to express the burden of fear and sorrow that overwhelms me. It also causes chaos in life. I am mentally disturbed. I have lost my peace in financial affairs and in my place of work. Satan is sowing seeds of suicidal thoughts as to why I should live. Thoughts like “What is the use in my living? It would be good if I die,” keep disturbing me. O Jesus Christ, have mercy on me. I want to unburden me before someone. I am also reminded of the verse: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6). O Jesus Christ, have mercy on me. You alone can do a miracle. I have no mind to do anything. I think of the past and feel remorseful. O Lord, keep my thoughts in Christ. You alone can give me the peace of God. Have mercy on me. Today help me, removing the agony of my heart and do away with all mental disturbances and thereby help me also to abound in praising You. In the name of Jesus Christ I make this prayer, O good Father. Amen.
