“The LORD shall preserve you from all evil;
                             He shall preserve your soul”

                                                                                     Psalm 121:7

Beloved in Christ,

I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Once we had been to England to do the ministry of the Lord. Bro. Thomas from Pudukottai also accompanied me. We had completed the ministry and were waiting at Oxford Circle Station to meet my son there. It was our plan to return to India the next day. Bro. Thomas was keeping the briefcase in between his legs tightly. In that box we had our passports, and other important travel documents for the next day. In it we had the money, and offerings as well. We were waiting at the exit point. My son had to climb about 30 steps to meet us.

At that time a white-man in full suit forcefully lifted it from between his legs and started running down the steps. The Brother started shouting at him and I started chasing him down the steps. By the strength and grace of the Lord, I run up so close to him that he threw it away at me and disappeared in the station. We took hold of the bag and sat there on the steps to take rest. Then my son and his friend arrived and we came out of the station. A number of persons were watching what was happening. Then a Chinese lady commented: ‘You are lucky to get back your bag.’ Then I replied her aloud so that everybody there would hear: “It is not luck, but the grace of Jesus Christ.” It was usual for more or less 20 people to lose their belongings every day at that place. We were told so. But we got it back safely.

Dear Brother/ Sister, do not be dismayed that someone has taken away your belongings. The Lord Jesus Christ who came to redeem the lost would help you to retrieve all things you have lost. He will use you giving back your spiritual gifts and talents. He will establish a good relationship with you. He will give you back the lost job, peace, health, happiness, studies and house. To get them back let us pray in the name of the Lord. Let us make efforts. As David retrieved everything he lost, you will also get them back and be happy.

May the Lord bless you!

Bro. C. Ebenezer Paul.
